Akshat was born and grew up in New Delhi, India. He did his B.S. in Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Delhi (IITD). He recieved his M.S. at CSU working on developing a new suspended slab building system for earthquake mitigation. He is currently workiing on developing a bio-based optimization approach for sturctures subjected to multi-hazards. In his free time he likes to listen to music, play video games and sketc
